Key Responsibilities

According to information received, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing a team of packaging maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, providing training, and evaluating performance.
  • Implementing preventative maintenance schedules to ensure packaging equipment functions optimally and prevent breakdowns.
  • Monitoring budgets and repair costs, while identifying cost-effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, including proper documentation and reporting.
  • Overseeing installations and upgrades of new packaging equipment in collaboration with project teams.
  • Diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions, coordinating necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Optimizing equipment performance by identifying potential upgrades and process improvements to minimize downtime.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Previous experience as a maintenance technician or supervisor in a packaging environment.

  • A degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Technology, Food Science, Business Management, Chemistry, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Process Engineering.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software.

Key Skills Required
