Responsibilities
Finance Specialist – Payroll:
- Process and manage payroll for employees accurately and on time.
- Stay updated on payroll-related legislation and best practices.
- Support finance team with ad-hoc financial tasks.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
- Handle payroll discrepancies and resolve related queries.
- Prepare payroll reports and maintain payroll records.
- Collaborate with HR to update employee payroll information.
Finance Specialist – Inventory:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and perform regular audits.
- Analyze inventory levels and provide insights to optimize stock control.
- Coordinate with the procurement and production teams to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Prepare inventory reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Implement best practices to minimize inventory costs and wastage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline inventory processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on process optimization.
- Proven experience in both payroll management and inventory control, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, inventory management, and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software, SAP, inventory management software, and MS Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
