The Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria (CIFCFIN) is chartered by CIFCFIN (Establishment) Act, 2022. The Institute is empowered to establish the Nigerian College of Forensics and Fraud Investigators, (NiCFFI) Diplomates in fields of Forensics and Fraud Investigation, and the establishment of Forensic laboratories towards capacity building of the criminal justice system, law enforcement agencies and private sector., The Institute is recruiting dedicated core of experienced professionals to enhance management capacity of the College located in the FCT, Abuja.
We are recruiting to fill the positions below:
Job Title: Director, Membership & Professional Engagement
Location: Abuja
Job Summary
- We are seeking a dynamic and result oriented individual for the position of Director, Membership and Professional Engagement.
- The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in outreach, mobilization, and onboarding of members, including professional organizations, government agencies (MDAs), and their staff.
Key Responsibilities
Membership Outreach and Mobilization:
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to expand CIFCFIN’s membership base.
- Conduct targeted outreach activities to attract professionals,organizations, and MDAs to become members.
Onboarding and Engagement:
- Facilitate the seamless onboarding process for new members, ensuring they understand the benefits and value of CIFCFIN membership.
- Foster active engagement with existing members, providing them with opportunities for professional growth and development.
Partnership Development:
- Collaborate with professional organizations, government agencies, and relevant stakeholders to build strategic partnerships and affiliations.
Membership Affairs:
- Oversee all matters related to membership, including processing applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving membership-related queries.
Membership Affairs and Database Management:
- Manage the membership ledger and database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of members.
- Process membership applications and renewals and handle membership-related queries in a timely manner.
- Generate reports and analytics from the membership database to support decision-making and planning.
Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree in relevant disciplines from a recognized University; A PhD is an advantage
- Must be a Chartered Member of CIFCFIN, ANAN, ICAN, CIBN, NIS, COREN or any other professional body.
- At least 8 years of experience in any relevant field
- Progressively continuous experience in education, knowledge management,or training/human capacity development sectors
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders.
- A commitment to promoting academic excellence and student success.
- A deep understanding of the principles of forensic accounting and fraud investigation

Job Title: Provost
Location: Abuja
Job Summary
- The Provost is the Chief Executive of the College and is charged with the responsibility of seeing to the day-to-day management and operations of the College.
- The successful candidate would be expected to provide strong Academic, Administrative, and Professional leadership for the College in executing the broad policies laid down by the Governing Council and Regulatory Agencies to achieve the objectives for which the Institution was established.
- The Provost is expected to demonstrate initiative and
- positive managerial attributes.
- He/She will lead the College of Forensics and Fraud Investigation, overseeing all academic and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- The Provost is the Chief Academic, Administrative and Accounting Officer of the College and directs and oversees the academic activities of the College.
- A member of the Board of the College in charge of providing periodic reports of the progress of the College in terms of personnel, finances, and Infrastructure and ensuring that the decisions of the council are carried out promptly.
- Responsible for approving and authorizing all payments and expenditures of the College per financial regulations, Treasury circulars, and Governing Councils decisions and directives under sound financial discipline and management.
- responsible for ensuring that meetings of the Council and its committees are held promptly.
- Lead the academic and administrative functions of the College of Forensics and Fraud Investigation.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that support the mission of the college.

Job Title: Registrar / CEO
Location: Abuja
Job Summary

CIFCFIN is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated person with the capability, energy, and drive to lead the transformation of the institute into a world-class organization in Africa.
- The candidate shall have the maturity, experience, and down-to-earth attitude necessary to provide excellent leadership. CIFCFIN is keen to fill the position with an individual who has excellent people skills, solid all-around business acumen, and proven institutional development testimony.
- The successful candidate should possess strong administrative skills, system proficiency, and a good knowledge of organizational operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate all activities of the Institute’s secretariat in accordance withits enabling Law, Regulations and Rules, and its Strategic Plan, as well as implementing decisions of the Governing Council of CIFCFIN.
- The Registrar is also the Secretary to the Governing Council of theInstitute.
- The Registrar is to lead the overall growth and development of theInstitute, which involves key activities such as:
- Strategy Development, Planning and Reporting
- Relationship Management
- Operational Management
- Human Resources and Leadership
- Compliance with statutory requirements with a clear understanding of Regulatory, Government and Industry Processes
Requirements, Qualifications and Experience
The candidate for the post of Registrar/CEO is required to possess:
- A Master’s Degree in relevant disciplines from a recognized University; A PhD is an advantage.
- Must be a Chartered Member of CIFCFIN, ANAN, ICAN, CIBN, NIS, COREN or any other professional body.
- A minimum of 10 years cognate post qualification and professionalexperience.
- A high integrity and moral character with excellent interpersonalrelations;
- Demonstrable evidence of consummate management and leadership. drive in previous positions; in addition, must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skill;
- Strong leadership qualities, immense professional and industry knowledge, and contacts.
- A considerable degree of competence, responsiveness andjudgment on management matters with outstanding experience at top management level;
- Acapacitytoinstilconfidenceinothersandcommandthe loyaltyand respect of people;
- An excellent physical and mental health and must be ICT compliant.

Terms of Appointment
- The post of the Registrar/CEO is a full-time position and tenure-based.
- The successful candidate shall hold the office for a term of four (4) years in the first instance, renewable on successful accomplishment of agreed goals, based on thorough performance assessment.
