We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Scheduler / Planner to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful planning, scheduling, and execution of projects, while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.


Job Summary:
The Project Scheduler / Planner will be responsible for developing project execution plans, creating schedules, managing resources, and monitoring project progress to ensure timely and efficient delivery. This role requires a proactive professional with strong organizational skills, a technical background, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary projects effectively.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning & Scheduling:
    • Develop detailed project execution plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Create and maintain integrated master schedules using tools like Primavera and Microsoft Projects.
    • Monitor and control program compliance to meet project contractual obligations.
  2. Stakeholder Management:
    • Establish and execute effective project communication plans.
    • Ensure stakeholder views are managed and aligned with project objectives.
    • Work closely with the project manager to maximize project potential and resolve issues.
  3. Risk Management & Compliance:
    • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, policies, standards, and specifications.
    • Perform Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) to mitigate risks during data processing operations.
  4. Reporting & Documentation:
    • Prepare weekly and monthly status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing project data.
    • Document project progress, deviations, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
    • Ensure compliance with the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, & 45001:2018).
  5. Quality Assurance & Control:
    • Conduct surveillance and reviews at project sites to maintain quality standards.
    • Follow up on reported project deviations and non-conformances to ensure corrective actions are taken.
    • Implement risk-based thinking in project management processes.
  6. Post-Project Evaluation:
    • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful elements.
    • Manage customer satisfaction during the project transition period.

Education and Work Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering.
  • Certifications: Project Management and HSE certifications are added advantages.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of project management experience in a technical environment.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in project management tools like Primavera and Microsoft Projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, risk analysis, and resource management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with national standards, codes, policies, and best practices.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, Projects, and Outlook.
