The Opportunity
- IHS Towers is expanding our global footprint and we are seeking an individual to join our team as Specialist, Marketing and Strategy.
- The individual will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, conducting market analysis, and providing recommendations to optimize business performance and achieve long-term growth.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive growth, increase operational efficiency and enhance the competitive position of the business
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, emerging opportunities, and potential risks that could impact the business
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance tracking mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives
- Present marketing opportunities to the business and help to develop marketing strategies.
- Stay current on technological advancements and industry best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Support all Special projects and act as the interface between groups working on project green, Sustainability and CSR projects.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and providing insights and recommendations to refine the business positioning and capitalize on market gaps
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop business plans, including market entry strategies, pricing models and investment decisions
- Monitor and assess regulatory changes and industry developments that could impact GICLs operations and developing strategies to navigate potential challenges
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field
- 5 years’ post-NYSC work experience in a telecoms environment
